Cerumen Removal

Expert services to keep your ears clean

Earwax Removal

Earwax (cerumen) is a natural part of healthy ears. However excessive earwax can build-up in the ear canal, leading to impaction, clogged ears, itchiness, muffled hearing, and discomfort.

It may be tempting to use a cotton swab to remove earwax, but this can exacerbate the problem and even lead to punctured eardrums. Professional ear cleaning is the safest and most effective option, which is why we offer safe removal methods.

Manual Removal of Earwax

Curette removal is a precise, hands‑on technique that lets your audiologist gently lift and guide wax out of the canal under magnification and illumination. It’s especially useful for dry, flaky, or localized wax that doesn’t respond as well to irrigation.
